Thank you so much for this video. I was about to take my Jeep Renegade to the dealership because I could not figure out what was wrong I just knew it had something to do with the clutch safety switch. I had the switch out because I was testing it and it was good so then I was out of ideas. My husband sent me this video I immediately checked and BAM my Renegade started right up. You my friend just saved me hundreds or thousands of dollars of it being at the dealership to get it serviced. Again thank you so much!!!

Hey John, replaced this sensor today and I found it really easy to get to the back of the sensor if you reach around the pedal box from the right. I am trying to fix a p0805 error. I find the information on these cars a bit confusing as my car will just start even when it’s in gear. (2016 model). I cleared the ecu and hope the error doesn’t come back. We’ll see. I also tried fuses but they all seem good. Thanks for the video!

Amazing video! Can you buy the starter really from an auto parts store or does it have to be from the dealer? Do you have to unplug the battery before replacing the starter relay? Thanks

I have all the same notifications but my car’s motor is shaking really bad. It seems like almost to the point of backfiring. Then it turns off. Any advice?

I did the post clean, but still seems to some parasitic drain, perhaps someone knows what it could be? Bought new in Europe, no faults found on battery they say, but unless i charge it if not driven the battery drains out in ca 5 days

I've removed the contacters and filled in the grooves with solder on the same type starter a half dozen times with great success.

You're the only video I have found so far.That's made any sense.You went into detail and were willing to put your time and effort into this I've had this happen twice. And what saves me is. I bought a jump pack. And have used it. Twice I'll check the voltage and do a low test on the battery.I'll also clean all the contacts Despite the newer technology, not everything requires a degree to fix some things you can find on UA-cam. Thank you again.

Having a new Giulia Q, 280 since 2020, which had been stone cold dead like 5 times - always back from dealership with readout of battery test showing all ok - then dead again... i now try this and see if it works -was going to chuck the battery - car is super nice all aspects - but this has been the let-down, so fingers crossed!

Do you have video of replacing the front badge? Mine is faded badly and it needs replacing. Not sure if it sticks on or has prongs like the rear badge.

How can you tell if its the front or the rears?

Do you know the part number for the connector that is shown around 0:35- 0:36? It’s the plastic fitting that secured with a t25. My snapped, I glued it on and I can’t notice anything different braking wise. But want to get it replaced.

I have rattle noise from the back of the car, I’ve already changed shock absorbers, but don’t know what could be, there aren’t many moving parts, only spring and axle bushes. Need to check properly again. Any suggestions?
